Where the Mind Goes the Body Follows
Where the Mind Goes the Body Follows
On resetting the body after a season of celebration.

I have had surgery recently, then Christmas, then a birthday, then Valentine’s Day. In short, it has been a season of celebration, recovery, cake and kindness to myself.
With a holiday on the horizon, now felt like the perfect moment to gently reset and get my body back into good shape.
I have always believed that where the mind goes the body follows. When you decide something is the right time to begin, your body tends to fall into line.
For me, the best starting point is often a short sharp shock to the system. Nothing extreme or punishing. Just something clean, simple and purposeful that reminds my body how good it feels to be nourished properly.
I am also a huge believer in the power of plant based food and drink. Plants do the heavy lifting for me. Nutrients, vitamins, natural goodness.
When life gets busy, a reset through plants feels like the most honest way to bring the body back into balance.
So my thinking was simple.
Only water and juice.
Go hard or go home.
Enter Nutriseed, who very kindly came to the rescue and kitted me out with their cold pressed juice cleanse.

When the delivery arrived I felt like I had opened a little apothecary of health. Bottles lined up across my kitchen in every shade from deep green to bright citrus and rich berry tones.
The cleanse works by guiding you through a sequence of juices across the day, each one designed with a purpose.
It starts with Clarity, a vibrant orange blend that feels like morning sunshine in a bottle. Carrot, apple and ginger working together to wake the system up gently and get digestion moving.
Next comes Neon+, which leans into orange and turmeric, giving a bright burst of vitamin C and anti inflammatory goodness that feels like a natural lift.
Then there is Queen of California, slightly richer and more grounding. Apple, beetroot and earthy vegetables combine here, giving that deep ruby colour and a steady source of plant based nutrients.
After that comes Another Kind of Green, where the serious greens step forward. Kale, cucumber, celery and leafy vegetables come together to give the body a proper nutrient hit.
If you want to feel virtuous, this is the one.
Finally there is Wildfire, the deep purple finish. Packed with berries and darker fruits, it feels like the reward at the end of the day while still delivering antioxidants and natural plant power.
Alongside the juices there are also little immunity boosters like the ginger and turmeric shots, which absolutely wake you up in the best possible way.
I have lined everything up neatly in the fridge, ready for the days ahead.
Seeing them all sitting there actually makes the whole process feel very intentional.
Before starting, I did what any slightly obsessive person would do. I took my measurements and my weight.
If I am going to do something like this properly I want to treat it like a mini experiment. I want to see what shifts, what changes and how my body responds.
This is not about punishment or chasing unrealistic goals.
It is about supporting the body after a busy season and giving it a little breathing space.
So this is day one.
The juices are chilled, the water is ready and the mindset is locked in.
Only water and juice.
Go hard or go home.
I will keep you updated as the cleanse unfolds. Energy levels, thoughts, honesty and all.
Because in the end it always comes back to the same simple truth.
Where the mind goes, the body follows.
Kandidly,
Kay
